Discussion Question of the Week [Oct. 24th, 2011|07:56 pm]
Azazel & Riptide's Kingdom

Self-rec day!

During Party Week, we asked you to rec your favorite fanart and fanfic. This week we’ll take a slightly different spin on it. Post a rec of one of your own pieces. It can be fanart, fanfic, or a fanvid. Stop being modest and tell us why this one piece that YOU created is so good!

As always, comment here or PM me with new topics for Discussion of the Week.

Um... this was one of my favorite fics to write:

It was a lot of fun, it's from Sean's POV... and yeah. I basically listened to Party Rock over and over and had a blast. <3 I think Sean's POV is a fun pool to play in and I dunno... I hope you all agree :)

I’ve written a lot of Azazel/Riptide fic. I want to stick to the rule to rec only one, so I’m not going to pick the one that received the most reviews or the one that I excitedly stayed up all night to write (something I never do). I think the best one might be A Business Transaction. I had two remarkable beta testers who pushed me to write better than I had been writing, I like the way the story and plot unfolded, and I enjoyed telling the first chapter from Azazel’s perspective and the second from Riptide’s. I thought it was a solid, realistic look at what their relationship might be like and how it would survive and even grow despite working and living under Sebastian Shaw.

I don't know. I probably like my newest series best right now, the "Scars" universe. I feel I'm falling back into the swing of writing, and am not making a lot of the mistakes I was making in the beginning. So "Scars" is probably the best thing, so far.
